External accreditation, certification and professional recognition provide additional assurance for organisations and delegates choosing LMC. Selected programmes may also carry CPD accreditation or recognised professional development routes, giving participants another way to evidence the learning they complete.

Recognised Standards Behind the LMC Experience
Our quality approach is supported by a range of external standards, professional bodies and recognised development routes.
Some relate to LMC as a training organisation, while others apply to particular programmes or areas of professional development. Together, they provide an additional layer of assurance alongside the way we design, deliver and review learning.
The Institute of Leadership and Management is a global professional membership body representing over 25,000 professional managers and leaders. ILM recognises and affirms a company’s expertise in the leadership & management development. LMC constantly delivers to high quality standards which ensures its approved courses are relevant to the workplace and provide real benefits in learning and skills development.
Continuing Professional Development can be simply defined by the learning activities through which professionals develop their abilities and ensure they remain effective, and increasingly capable. The CPD Certification Service was established in 1996 as the leading independent CPD accreditation institution operating across industry sectors to complement the CPD policies of professional and academic bodies. By working with The CPD Certification Service LMC have accredited a number of courses and seminars. The CPD Certification Service ensures that programmes and materials are suitable for CPD and that individuals can obtain CPD hours from attendance.
The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) is an independent professional body for individuals and organisations associated with logistics and supply chains. CILT International has representation in 30 countries and has over 20,000 members worldwide. LMC is an Academic Partner of CILT and employs trainers who are fellows or members of the Institute.
The British Institute for Learning & Development is a Centre of Expertise that enhances professional growth, performance improvement and credibility. The institute identifies trends and distributes information on both innovation and well established techniques for learning. LMC is an Associate Member of BILD.
ISO 9000 is the internationally recognised standard for an organisation’s internal Quality Management. It applies quality controls to the processes that create and manage the services supplied by an organisation. LMC is a registered firm of ISO 9001.
The Chartered Management Institute is a chartered professional body committed to raising the performance of businesses by championing management and setting standards in management development. LMC has been approved as a training centre and has been accredited by the Institute to deliver their Diploma in Management. Candidates who gain the Diploma award will qualify for full membership in the Institute.
The Investor in People standard recognises organisations that provide straightforward, proven frameworks for delivering business improvement through people. IIP does not prescribe any one method but provides a framework to help organisations find the most suitable means for achieving success through their people. LMC has achieved recognition against the Investor in People standard.
The British Accreditation Council is a world-renowned quality assurance organisation recognising independent colleges with the highest quality standards of education and training. Accreditation by BAC is recognised by the UK Border Agency (UKBA) as a qualifying requirement for institutions wishing to accept international students. Training centres accredited by BAC are placed on the registered list of Education and Training Providers maintained by the UK Home Office. LMC has been accredited by the British Accreditation Council and is therefore an approved training provider to accept international student visitors.
