Project Planning and Control

This training programme will provide delegates with knowledge of project management by focusing on the major contemporary tools and techniques that are used in planning, monitoring, and controlling projects. It is designed to introduce a best practice approach to facilitate an effective and efficient management of projects. Learning is reinforced through practical exercises using case studies and real projects.

At the end of the course delegates will be able to:

    • Identify applicable project planning techniques
    • Review risks and conduct risk analysis
    • Conduct project planning meetings and determine resources required /available
    • Identify the best way to estimate time and cost of the project
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders
    • Regularly review project progress
    • Establish and use a project dashboard
