What is the LMC approach to customised training?
Customised training programmes are designed to consolidate and integrate the key issues of the client's learning objectives; these are then linked to organisational strategy and culture, in order to ensure they are fully effective. Programmes can be followed up to ensure that the needed change takes place.
Working exclusively with one company provides the opportunity to modify content and emphasis to suit the needs of each organisation. The training is presented and discussed against the experiences within the company and can therefore be completely consistent and relevant to the client's requirements.
What do we need to provide to LMC if requesting customised training?
We will ask you to provide the following:
- Your specific objectives for the required training
- The background of staff you wish to be trained
- The functions and job titles of the staff to be trained
- When exactly you wish to have the training done
- How many people you wish to train
- Where you would like the training to take place
What time does the course start and end daily?
All LMC courses run from 9:00 to 14:30. On the first day of all courses delegates are required to arrive no later than 8:30am for registration. In addition to the above training hours, LMC provides one hour activity sessions after the completion of each day. Although this is not compulsory, we strongly encourage delegates to make full use of the training resources available at LMC to enhance and fully benefit from their learning experience.
How do I get to London from Heathrow Airport?
LMC offers a complimentary limousine transfer for all overseas delegates from Heathrow Airport to Central London. To book your airport transfer please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Where do LMC open courses take place?
All open courses take place at the LMC training centre. The training centre is situated in one of the most attractive areas of Central London, with a wealth of historic sites, parks, theatres and the famous West End stores just minutes away. How many people will be attending the course?
Courses usually run with small numbers (maximum 16 - 18 attendees) to ensure that each attending delegate receives individual help and guidance from the tutor during the programme.
Do I receive a certificate after attending an LMC course?
At the end of the course, an achievement certificate will be awarded on the basis of active participation and full time attendance. With this in mind and to avoid disappointment, delegates are advised to make certain that they have no other commitments for the duration of the course.
Can LMC book accommodation for me?
Our administrative staff will be happy to assist you in finding suitable accommodation. Will LMC help me obtain a UK visa?
Upon receipt of the course fees, LMC will issue a visa facilitation letter, which will be sent to the British Embassy with a copy forwarded to the delegate. Please note that this does not guarantee the visa, it only supports the application.
What happens if my entry visa is delayed?
To avoid disappointment, you are advised to submit your application for the entry visa as soon as you have been accepted onto the course and the invoice has been settled for your chosen course. If you are unable to secure the visa in time to attend a course, please notify us with a maximum notice period. Please note that our Terms of Business are not subject to obtaining the visa.
What is the dress code at LMC?
Our programmes constitute a gathering of business people. Therefore, business attire or national dress are most commonly worn.
Are refreshments included in the course fee?
Light refreshments and a buffet lunch are available during all LMC events. If you have any dietary requirement, for example vegetarian meal, please inform our customer support services department.
Is accommodation included in the course fee?
Accommodation is not included in the course fees. However, our administrative staff will be pleased to assist and make the necessary arrangements on your behalf with various hotels and estate agents within the vicinity. For full details please click here.
What will I find in my joining instructions?
Joining instructions confirm all details of the course, including the venue address, contact phone numbers, the programme daily schedule, start and finish times, dress code and an accommodation list.
When will I receive the joining instructions?
Joining instructions will be sent to your training department and your email address approximately 10 days prior to the course date.
Do you organise any sightseeing tours?
LMC offers all delegates a complimentary sightseeing tour ticket. It provides the perfect opportunity for delegates to familiarise themselves with London's famous attractions and the wealth of architectural and cultural landmarks to enjoy around the city.
Can I access the internet once I am at LMC?
Free Wi-Fi access within the training centre is available to all delegates. There are also number of iPad internet stations available for the delegates to use and catch up with their e-mails during the break times or after the course.
Can you assist me with my travel arrangements?
While all delegates are required to book their flights to and from London either directly or through their organisation, our customer support team will be happy to help you with reconfirmation of return journey airline tickets. We are also happy to provide you with information on trains, buses, taxi and car hire as well as trips and visits during your stay with LMC.

How do I book an LMC open course?

Your booking will then be passed on to our administration team and processed within 24 hours. Please note: all bookings will require formal confirmation from your HR/training department. What course materials are provided?
Once you arrive at LMC you will be given a copy of the complete course manual. The course manual contains the material supporting the content of the chosen course.
How often do LMC open courses run?
LMC courses are repeated frequently throughout the year giving delegates a wide choice of dates and to allow them to plan their time effectively.
How can I pay for my course?
Payments may be made via bank-transfer or by cheque. LMC's bank details are detailed on our invoices. Copy of our bank details are available upon request. Cheque’s should be made payable to London Management Centre PLC.
Can I get a discount on multiple bookings?
LMC offers a number of schemes to suit different clients, such as discount on a group nomination and corporate membership. For more information, please contact our customer support team.
When do I need to pay?
Can I send a replacement delegate?
LMC will accept a substitute delegate for any delegate that may be prevented from attending a designated programme. The change and new details must be communicated to LMC prior to commencement of the programme.
What are the cancellation and transfer policies?
We regret that a fee must be charged when confirmed bookings are cancelled or transferred to future dates. Any change must be notified to us within 4 weeks of the start date of the course. A substitute may be notified, but if a substitute cannot be found, refunds will be made as follows:
- 100% of the fee if the cancellation is notified 4 weeks or more before the start date
- 50% of the fee if the cancellation is between 2-4 weeks before the start date
- No refund if notice of cancellation is given less than 2 weeks prior to the start date

What happens if LMC decides to cancel a course?
LMC will only cancel a course when unforeseen circumstances arise. We will immediately send you a notification in writing, and will offer you a place on the next available/suitable course.
