Rachel Ellsmore

With over 11 years experience in freelance training and development, Rachel’s skills cover all aspects of the training cycle from training needs analysis, design and development through to delivery and evaluation.

Specialising in behavioural and leadership  training, she has operated at all levels within the management structure as well as producing fundamental skills programmes for employees.

Having worked within the retail, hospitality, engineering, energy, healthcare, sport and recruitment sectors; Rachel’s awareness of the commercial focus needed in ensuring that all developmental work produces measurable results that positively affect the profit of the organisation.

Key areas of her work include customer service and selling skills training, communication, leadership skills, time and performance management training, recruitment and assessment centres, change management and coaching work.

Rachel graduated in Media Studies and previously worked within Leisure and Retail management, driven by her passion for people development and making a difference for the individual and the organisation. 

Qualified in both Level A and B psychometric testing, she is also able to offer a wide range of ability and personality profiling to enhance selection or development needs.

Since becoming a freelance Trainer & Coach; she has worked with B&Q, Lambeth Council, Thales, RWE Supply & Trading, Whitbread, Compass Group, Tesco, National Skills Academy for Retail, SEA, Post Office, Arsenal FC and the Welsh Rugby Union, offering a number of recruitment, training, development and coaching solutions.
