Dr Paul Wright MCIPS MILT has a PhD in Physics from the University of Leeds, from where he joined Chemicals Multinational ICI.

After a number of other roles he joined the Corporate Procurement Group as Engineering Equipment Contracts Manager.  In addition to this role he began carrying out commercial training within the company, which lead to him setting up his own training and consultancy business (PAWA Consulting Ltd.) in 1998.

 

He has carried out a wide range of consultancy projects, including working on major sporting events such as the Commonwealth Games.  His training focuses on commercial skills, and has worked extensively for the public and private sectors in the UK and Middle East since 2000.  His specialty is Procurement and Supply Chain Management, and he provides training and consultancy through a number professional trade bodies such as EEF, IChemE and CIPS.  He has had delegates from most of the major ME oil and gas companies, as well as ME and UK government.  His consultancy interests include supplier development and innovation as well as standard cost control and quality improvements.

 

Paul's style is relaxed and he encourages delegates to share their own issues and views so that he can ensure it meets your individual needs. He has worked with LMC since 2013.
