Visioning

A management term for the process of identifying, developing and documenting vision and values, to provide an individual or team with direction, inspiration and momentum. Visioning is used to develop a clear sense of purpose and to focus and drive the creative energy of individuals within an organisation. People who favor the Visioning Style focus on maximizing potential and are driven by their organization's mission, rather than day-to-day issues. This style is characterized by people who are persistent, determined, hardworking, and visionary.
