Booking or General Enquiries
To book non-scheduled courses or for general enquiries/ information about LMC training and services, please contact one of our customer support administrators by emailing training@lmcuk.com or calling +44(20)7724 6007.
Reservations
Bookings can be made from the website by clicking on Book Now from the appropriate course details. Alternatively, you can make a telephone booking. Telephone bookings must be confirmed in writing three weeks prior to the commencement of the programme.
Full joining instructions are sent to each participant one week before the commencement of the programme/s via the company/department making the booking/s.
Open Courses
Wherever appropriate, the events include case studies, role plays, field visits and practical exercises so that participants are able to gain practical experience allied to the principles and techniques being presented in the courses.
We restrict the number of delegates attending each event to ensure that there is ample opportunity to ask questions, take part in discussions and compare experiences.
Design of Events
LMC offers regularly scheduled courses, seminars and workshops. These events are structured to cover the main areas of contents (course materials are provided as guidance and for future reference).
All our programmes and seminars are scheduled to run for one or two weeks commencing on Monday and concluding on Friday.
Daily schedule for two week programmes start at 9am and finish at 3pm. Delegates attending one week intensive programmes will finish at 4pm.
Programme Documentation
Delegates will be provided with course material and relevant documentation upon arrival. However, should a programme require preparatory work, delegates will receive the appropriate documentation two weeks prior to the commencement date. Delegates will be given an option of obtaining the electronic version of course material on a customised CD instead of the hard copy.
Accommodation
Accommodation is not included in the course fees. However, our administrative staff will be pleased to assist and make the necessary arrangements with various hotels and apartments within the vicinity at specially negotiated rates. Alternatively, please see Accommodation, which lists some of the hotels we use.

Refreshments
Light refreshments and a buffet lunch are available during all LMC events. If you require a special diet or vegetarian meal, please inform our customer services department by emailing training@lmcuk.com.
Language
All programmes are conducted in English. In order to participate fully, delegates should demonstrate a good command of the English language.
Visa Requirements
Overseas delegates from certain countries may require a UK entry visa. On receipt of the course fees, LMC can provide an official invitation letter to be submitted to the relevant local embassy/consulate.
Dress Code
Most of our programmes constitute a gathering of business people. Therefore, business attire or national dress are most commonly worn.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in the training suites, TV & library lounge or in the areas where there is a no smoking sign.
Recreation Facilities
Delegates attending LMC programmes can enjoy the use of the recreation centre located opposite the training venue, equipped with full leisure facilities such as a gym, sauna, squash, basketball, aerobics and swimming pool.
Mobile Phones
The use of mobile phones is not permitted in the training suites, TV & library lounge and in areas where meetings are in progress.

Group Nominations

Membership
Companies who have joined the LMC Membership scheme automatically qualify for a 10% reduction on the quoted course fees. A range of membership options, to include accommodation are available. For more details and an application form, please contact our customer support department.
Fees, Payment & VAT
Course fees include all tuition costs, materials, publications and refreshments. Course fees are subject to VAT at the current rate. Should a delegate/organisation qualify for UK VAT relief, a written confirmation is required with supporting evidence.
A pro-forma invoice will be tendered and payment is required six weeks before the course starts. An invoice will be sent on receipt of payment.
Bookings made within 21 days of the start date of the course should be accompanied by full payment.
Fees are payable to London Management Centre by cheque or direct transfer to our bank (details available on request).
Although advance payment is required, alternative arrangements can be made to suit individual organisations.
Prices are guaranteed until 31st December 2008.
Cancellations & Transfers
We regret that a fee must be charged when confirmed bookings are cancelled or transferred to future dates and that change is notified to us within 4 weeks of the start date of the programme. A substitute may be notified, but if a substitute cannot be found, refunds will be made as follows:
- 100% of the fee if the cancellation is notified 4 weeks or more before the start date.
- 50% of the fee if the cancellation is between 2-4 weeks before the start date.
- No refund if notice of cancellation is given less than 2 weeks prior to the start date.
Certificate Awarded
At the end of the programme, an achievement certificate will be awarded on the basis of active participation and full time attendance. Participants are advised to make certain that they have no other commitments for the duration of the programme.
