Listening

Hearing what another person is saying, thinking about it and responding in a manner that is professional, helpful and proactive. In order to truly listen, one must undergo a process of thought after hearing what has been said. This thought process allows the application of prior knowledge and experience to what is being said, before offering constructive feedback.
