Regression Analysis

An econometric tool used for the investigation of relationships between variables. Usually used to uncover or to associate the relationship between supply, demand, price and inflation. For example, the analysis would show the effect of a price increase upon demand, or the effect of changes in the money supply upon the inflation rate.
