Brainstorming

A process to generate ideas and promote creative thinking and innovation in a relaxed and semi-formal group meeting. Brainstorming generates a large number of ideas in a short space of time by having few limitations to the ideas. Individuals who might not usually voice an idea or opinion are encouraged to contribute in an ‘anything goes’ atmosphere. In this respect, brainstorming is thought also to raise morale and for that reason, it is a popular team-building exercise.
