Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR)

A strategy used in supply chain management where information is shared and processes are integrated, where possible, between key participants such as suppliers and retailers for the benefit of customers. CPFR aims to enhance supply chain activities such as inventory management and transportation by making these processes highly visible, reducing duplication of administration and achieving reductions in cost.
