Project Management

A planned and organised effort to accomplish a specific goal or desired objective. Project management includes developing a project plan with defined goals and objectives, specifying tasks or how goals will be achieved, what resources are needed, and the associated budgets and timelines for completion. Project management also includes implementing the project plan, along with careful controls to stay on track and ensuring the project is managed effectively.
