Trust Building

A bilateral process requiring a mutual commitment and effort from two or more parties to enhance successful conflict resolution, cooperation, information sharing and problem solving. It aims to achieve a psychological state where there is an intention to accept vulnerability, based on the positive expectations of intentions or behaviour of another. Trust building behaviour can be divided into two areas, namely those of calculus-building and identification-building trust.
