Cathy Sibley

Finance, Accounting

Cathy is an experienced consultant in accountancy and financial services. Having started her career as a professional accountancy teacher she was later appointed a member ACCA's core marking team and is now a marker for CIMA's TOPCIMA. During her long career, Cathy worked with blue chip organisations such as Shell Oil in Brunei and Sakhalin Energy in Russia.

Prior to her lecturing career Cathy was responsible for a small life assurance team with core responsibility of producing all figures for life and pensions business of Marks & Spencer financial services. She was also responsible for the financial reporting and unit pricing for the life, pensions and unit trust companies. This included DTI returns, statutory accounts and monthly reporting.
